Best Software Companies in Kandy (2026): How to Choose a Local Partner

If you search for the best software companies in Kandy, you will find a mix of freelancers, student teams, and a smaller number of companies that actually ship live systems. This guide is for owners in Kandy, Katugastota, Peradeniya, and the Central Province who need a partner they can visit — not just a brochure website.

AVENQUE is one of those local companies. Our Kandy office is at 185/8 Galagedara Road, Katugastota, Kandy, Sri Lanka. From here we build POS, ERP, websites, and custom software for Sri Lankan businesses, and we also deliver work for clients in London, United Kingdom.

What “best” should mean for a software company in Kandy

Rankings change. What does not change is how you judge a software company in Kandy before you pay a deposit. Use these checks.

• A real office. Can you visit the team in Kandy? AVENQUE is in Katugastota, not a virtual address.
• Live work. Ask for websites and systems that are already running. See our portfolio for Sri Lanka and UK projects.
• Industry fit. A restaurant needs different software from a jeweller or a tyre shop. Look at industries we serve.
• Products you can start with. Custom software takes time. Ready platforms such as QPOS, QRPOS, and JewelMate get a shop live faster.
• Support after launch. The best company is the one that still answers the phone when the till is busy on a Saturday.

AVENQUE: a software company in Kandy with UK delivery

Most software companies in Kandy serve only the local market. AVENQUE is different because the same team works with Hatton Garden jewellers in London and with shops, bakeries, and retailers across Sri Lanka.

That matters if you want software that looks professional, stays fast, and can grow with more branches. Our founder, Aadhil Nazeer, built the company to turn real business problems into products — from Kandy engineering to UK client work. AVENQUE is his own company, not Vsoft IT Solutions Sri Lanka.

What we build from Katugastota

• Websites for jewellery, retail, and service businesses
• Retail and restaurant POS — QPOS and QRPOS
• QERP for inventory, finance, and operations
• Optical software with QOpticare
• Jewellery platforms — JewelPRO, GEMPRO, and JewelMate
• AI and automation, cloud, and custom software

How to shortlist software companies in Kandy

Before you sign, ask every company the same five questions:

1. Where is your office, and can I visit this week?
2. Which live websites or POS systems can I click today?
3. Who owns the source code and the hosting after launch?
4. What happens if something breaks on a weekend?
5. Can you show a similar business in Kandy or Sri Lanka?

AVENQUE answers those in person at the Katugastota office. Book a visit through our contact page or call +94 76 822 2201.

Why businesses pick a Kandy software company over Colombo only

Colombo has more agencies. Kandy has something many owners prefer: a team you can reach the same day. For a shop in Akurana, Kandy, or Katugastota, a local software company means faster training, on-site POS setup, and support in the same time zone as your counter staff.

AVENQUE keeps that local presence and adds a London office for clients who need UK-facing websites and jewellery systems. That combination is rare among software companies in Kandy.
